Max Ernst – Traum und Revolution
Max Ernst war einer der führenden Künstler des Dada in Deutschland, und stieß später auch zu dem Kreis um André Breton, dem inoffiziellen Gründer der Surrealistischen Bewegung. Zu Beginn des Zweiten Weltkrieges flieht Max Ernst in die USA, zunächst nach New York und später nach Sedona in Arizona, wo er sich zeitweise niederließ. Erst 1950 kehrt er nach Deutschland zurück Hier wird erstmals wieder nach 30 Jahren seine Pionierarbeit in der Vervollkommnung von Maltechnik, Collage und Skulptur beleuchtet sowie seine Techniken in der Frottage, Grattage und nicht zuletzt der Decalcomanie…….
