Bettina Rheims – Chambre close
Bettina Rheims, Photographin, begann 1978 mit Portraitphotographie, ihre ersten Modelle waren Pariser Stripperinnen. 1980 erschien in der Zeitschrift Egoïste ihre erste Aktphotoserie. Seit Mitte der 80er Jahre zahlreiche Ausstellungen und Buchveröffentlichungen. 1995 erhielt Bettina Rheims den Auftrag, das offizielle Porträt des neu gewählten Präsidenten von Frankreich, Jacques Chirac, anzufertigen. Sie erhielt 1994 den Grand Prix de la Photographie de la ville de Paris.
